One of the main objectives of UkSATSE is to provide Air traffic services (ATS) in the Ukrainian airspace and in the airspace over the high sea, where the responsibility for ATS is delegated to Ukraine by international agreements. Air traffic services are provided by ATS units, which are part of air traffic management centres.
The management of ATM centre and ATS units is regulated by the Documents of Air Navigation Service Department of UkSATSE approved by UkSATSE Order No. 246 dated 14.07.2017
Documents of Air Navigation Service Department of UkSATSE contain general materials for preparing the Regulation on ATS units, description of duty responsibilities for ATS specialists, samples of operational instructions for ATS units and other regulatory and guidance material that is meant to help the managers of Air Navigation Service Department of UkSATSE to organize the work of ATS units.

Flight information service
Flight information sectors of ACCs and APPs provide flight information service within FIZs.
Flight information service (FIS) is provided:
- within controlled airspace (class C, D) – by ATC units (ACCs/APPs)
- outside controlled airspace (class G, GND-1500 AMSL) – by 6 flight information sectors which are located in 4 ACCs (Kyiv – 2 sectors, Lviv – 2 sectors, Odesa – 1 sector, Dnipro – 1 sector) and 1 sector in Kharkiv APP
