The Medical and Sanitary Unit of UkSATSE obtained a Certificate of an Aviation Medical Centre
On 29 March 2013, the Medical and Sanitary Unit of UkSATSE obtained a Certificate of an Aviation Medical Centre. The certificate entitles the Aviation Medical Centre to carry out medical certification of all aviation personnel of classes 1, 2 and 3. From now on, this institution will certify not only air traffic controllers but also pilots, flight attendants, private pilots and other specialists.

UkSATSE’s team has won the first international sports games tournament among employees of aviation organizations of CIS countries which took place in March 13-18, 2013 in the capital of Belarus – Minsk.

Five Years Ago, a New ICAO Language Proficiency Standard Applicable to Air Traffic Controllers was Implemented in Ukraine
The new language proficiency requirements established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for aviation personnel were implemented five years ago, on March 5, 2008 worldwide. By that date, almost all the ATM (Air Traffic Management) specialists of the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE) had demonstrated the required Level 4 English language proficiency according to the ICAO scale, which is essential for radiotelephony communications with aircraft. So, being the national ANS provider, UkSATSE has proved its capability to provide the high-quality air navigation services and appropriate safety level in the Ukrainian sky.

Civil Aviation Authority has involved UkSATSE specialists as experts in the Commission of the State Aviation Administration on the provision of Aeronautical Information in Ukraine
The specialists of the Aeronautical Information Service of the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE) took part as experts in the work of the Commission of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine on the provision of aeronautical information.

Representatives of the Georgian air navigation services provider (Sakaeronavigatsia) highly appreciated the Ukrainian experience concerning cooperation with Eurocontrol and the technical development of the Ukrainian air navigation system during their visit to the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE).

Information Bulletin "Peculiarities of Visual Flight Rules (VFR) operations in class G airspace"
In response to numerous requests of users of the Ukrainian airspace to provide clarifications on the procedure for operating in class G airspace, the specialists of the Air Navigation Service Unit of UkSATSE have issued the Information Bulletin No. 2 "Peculiarities of Visual Flight Rules (VFR) operations in class G airspace". The interest in this issue is raised by some changes in the Ukrainian laws and regulations as well as air traffic management in class G.

UkSATSE put into operation automated weather information systems in briefing offices at nine Ukrainian airports
On 14th November 2012 UkSATSE put into operation automated weather information systems (AWIS) for briefing at “Kyiv” (Boryspil), “Kyiv” (Zhuliany), “Dnipropetrovsk”, “Donetsk”, “Zaporizhzhia”, “Lviv”, “Odesa”, “Simferopol” and “Kharkiv” airports.

Representative of the US Federal Aviation Administration visited UkSATSE
Senior representative of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Russia and CIS countries Mr Elie Nasr during his trip to Ukraine from 13th till 16th of November visited the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise and expressed his hope for future cooperation of the two countries in the sphere of aviation industry.
