| UkSATSE has joined the group of providers with the most advanced flight safety management system in Europe – based on results of Eurocontrol and CANSO audits |
 Based on the 2019 audit results, UkSATSE joined the group of 27 countries with the highest indicators of safety management system (SMS) perfection with the average SMS maturity level of 70-78%.
The evaluation was carried out in the framework of a joint Eurocontrol and CANSO project.
Andrii Yarmak, Head of UkSATSE: "The results of these studies show that the safety management system of UkSATSE operates in accordance with European requirements and this is a guarantee of providing effective and safe air navigation services within the airspace of Ukraine".
The evaluation was conducted on 17 main components and elements of flight safety, among which are the following: safety culture, safety policy, risk management process, flight safety reporting process, monitoring of flight safety characteristics, training and education in the field of flight safety.
Ukraine has the best practice recognized at the European level in the area of "monitoring of flight safety characteristics".
