Personnel of aviation security service completed professional training
Personnel of the aviation security service of UkSATSE in August 2018 completed training at the training center on training of aviation security personnel in the Training and Certification Center of the Enterprise (TCC) under the program “Basic Training of Aviation Security Personnel”, as the director of TCC Igor Opryshko, said.

Such training was organized for the first time in accordance with the requirements of the State Civil Aviation Security Program approved by the Law of Ukraine No. 1965-VIII of March 21, 2017 which entered into force on April 12, 2017 and the Aviation Security Program of the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise enacted by the UkSATSE order No. 385 dated 03.07.2018.

Within 12 days a group of aviation security officers of the management staff and the regional structural units underwent theoretical and practical training at the training center on training of aviation security personnel in the Training and Certification Center of UkSATSE. In addition, the trainees have received practical skills on protection of the aviation activities subjects from acts of unlawful interference at the actual facilities of the Enterprise - at the checkpoints of the Kyivcenteraero Regional Branch of UkSATSE and the Heliport “Helipad Kaniv/Pekari" of UkSATSE, as well as at the facilities of Boryspil International Airport and the Ukrainian Government Building.

Based on the results of the training, the trainees have received certificates of the established standard.

Reference. Aviation security is protection of civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference that pose threat to civil aviation, namely a complex of measures involving human and material resources to ensure such protection.
