Aeromedical Centre of UkSATSE provides almost 60% of all aviation personnel certifications in 2015
Aeromedical Centre of the State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) has issued approximately 3500 certificates to aviation personnel in 2015 that is almost 60% of the total number of certificates issued throughout Ukraine.

Qualified assessment of ability of air traffic controllers, pilots, flight attendants, amateur pilots and other specialists to work within their specialties is a crucial factor for safety.

Founded within the structure of the Medical and Sanitary Unit (MSU) of Kyivcenteraero Regional Branch of UkSATSE, the Aeromedical Centre is one of eight specialized medical facilities existing in Ukraine, which is authorized to carry out certification of aviation personnel of 1, 2 and 3 classes as well as initial certification.

The state-of-the-art equipment necessary for the full range of examinations is available at the Aeromedical Centre of UkSATSE all the year round. The certification is provided by five trained aviation examiners, that is the biggest number of such specialists from among the medical staff of any of eight other aviation medical centres. All conditions for convenient certification process were created, yet its favourable location, near Boryspil International Airport, is an absolute advantage of the Centre. It has to be noted that the prices for medical services in the Medical and Sanitary Unit have not been raised during the past two years and some services have the same price for the last seven years.

"We always care about the high level of medical provision of safety performed by the Medical and Sanitary Unit and particularly the Aeromedical Centre. Our primary task is to preserve to the greatest possible extent top-ranked aviation specialists, because their health determines the career longevity”, says Oleksandr KANISKIN, Chief Doctor, head of the Medical and Sanitary Unit of UkSATSE.
