Air traffic in Ukrainian airspace continues to recover in July
In July 2020, UkSATSE provided air navigation services for 12,195 flights in total, which is 68.3% less than in the previous July.

Air traffic distribution by flight types in July is as follows: domestic flights - 2317 (-32.9% compared to July 2019), international flights - 5751 (-65.2%) and transit flights - 4127 (-77.7%).

Earlier, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) reported that flights worldwide would recover more slowly in the second half of this year than experts had expected. This is due to the non-synchronous actions of countries regarding the quarantine lifting and introduction of additional regulations for border crossing, which significantly affects the demand for air transportation.

Global passenger traffic will not return to pre-crisis levels until 2024, a year later than previously forecast by IATA.
