| UkSATSE Hosts ICAO EUR/NAT Regional Director |
 Mr Luis Fonseca de Almeida, ICAO European and North Atlantic (EUR/NAT) Regional Director, arrived at UkSATSE on a visit. The prospects for deepening relations between Ukraine and ICAO, problematic issues and plans for further provision of air navigation services, in particular in the airspace over the Black Sea where the responsibility for air traffic services is delegated to Ukraine by international agreements, were discussed during the meeting with Dmytro Babeichuk, Director of UkSATSE, and Ruslan Hutsan, Operations Deputy Director.
Being a national provider, UkSATSE takes all possible measures to ensure safety of international air navigation and confirms the technical and operational ability of Ukraine to provide air navigation services in accordance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.
Mr Luis Fonseca de Almeida arrived in Ukraine together with Dr Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu, ICAO Council President. A meeting of chief executives of this influential International Organization with Ukrainian state and aviation policymakers is known to have been scheduled.
