| UkSATSE systematically implementing Action Plan for Air Navigation Services Recovery in the Airspace of Ukraine |
The activities of this Action Plan include the infrastructure area, refresher training of specialists in the relevant fields, development of safety scenarios for the airspace opening and a number of other important steps to recover air navigation services.
 Under the Action Plan, Ukrainian air traffic controllers, supported by France’s air navigation service provider and their EUROCONTROL colleagues, have the opportunity to attend a refresher training course at the French Civil Aviation University ENAC (Toulouse, France).
The training of UkSATSE ATCOs includes ADI/ADV Refresh custom-made training and APP/APS Refresh custom-made training. In accordance with the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 implementation rules, this customised training aims to assess competence of our air navigation specialists and allow them to refresh their practical skills.
Maintaining the skills of UkSATSE operational personnel is a key element in preparing for the future recovery of the provider services in the Ukrainian airspace.
This training is made possible, among other things, owing to the European ATM Voluntary Solidarity Fund that was established last November by all EUROCONTROL Member States to support Ukraine. |
