  Dmytro Babeichuk: “Putting into operation of the air navigation system in Lviv – is the next step towards enhancement of safety of flights over the territory of Ukraine”
  Putting into operation of a new air traffic control centre at Lviv regional branch of UkSATSE, expected at the end of 2015, allows taking flights safety to higher level in the Ukrainian airspace, namely within the sectors serviced by the controllers of the Lviv regional branch, – reported UkSATSE director, Dmytro Babeichuk, during the meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Andriy Pyvovarskiy at Lviv regional branch of UkSATSE.

  The representatives of the Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Trade Unions of Ukraine have provided to the international community the arguments proving appropriate flights safety level in the airspace over the high seas, the responsibility for which is delegated to Ukraine, namely in the international airspace over the Black Sea. The presentation was made in the course of the 54th annual conference of International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Association (IFATCA) which took place in Sofia (Bulgaria) this spring.

  Today UkSATSE discussed problem of legislative regulation of remotely piloted aircraft flights in Ukraine
  Today, on the 18-th of May 2015 “RPAS Community in Ukraine” workshop took place at the premises of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE). It was conducted jointly by UkSATSE and EUROCONTROL. The main target of the arrangement was analysis of the current state of the legislative regulation in Ukraine of remotely piloted aircraft flights and development of foremost recommendations for enhancement of the national legislative base taking into the consideration the European best practices.

  In the 1st quarter of 2015, the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UKSATSE) has provided air navigation services to 42,914 flights, performed by domestic and international airlines in the airspace of Ukraine.

  The English language proficiency for air traffic control specialists is the significant condition of flight safety, taking into consideration the fact that English is the language of the world aviation. Therefore, Dmytro Babeichuk, Director of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) and Simon Cook, Director of Education and Training, M.L.S. International College have discussed training of UkSATSE air traffic controllers and the new concepts of cooperation between UkSATSE and the British college of the specialized language training.

  UkSATSE to apply modern European technology for aeronautical search and rescue at sea
  Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) will apply the most up-to-date technology for aeronautical search and rescue at sea. ASAS-26 navigation system, developed and supplied by “AERODATA AG” (Germany) will be installed at AN-26 aircraft, owned by UkSATSE.

  Dmytro Babeichuk met with Dmytro Kiva, President – General Designer of ANTONOV Company. During the meeting, the issues of establishing closer cooperation between the enterprises were discussed. The parties agreed upon the practical steps to be done today for ANTONOV Company to timely and properly perform re-equipment of the AN-26MP which belongs to UkSATSE Flight Calibration Service.

  UkSATSE to restore air traffic control services at Airport Kherson
  Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) is restoring air traffic control services at Airport Kherson to allow daily performance of an international flight by Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Kherson and back seven days a week staring from April 1, 2015.
