Lviv air traffic controllers received a new simulator - the best one they ever used
A modern air traffic control simulator manufactured by the Spanish company "Indra Sistemas S.A." was put into operation in the training centre of Lviv regional structural unit of UkSATSE. It will improve the quality of professional training of air traffic controllers and, as a result, the level of flight safety in the airspace of the Lviv Area Control Centre.

The new simulator meets European requirements for professional training and maintaining the competence of air traffic controllers.

It has a wide range of functions and can simulate the air situation as close as possible to the working environment.

There is an opportunity to create highly complex exercises for air traffic controllers to practice their readiness for any emergency or abnormal situations and unforeseen circumstances. Some of the new features of the simulator allow air traffic controllers to identify potential conflict situations in advance and take the best possible decisions.

Feedback from Lviv specialists, who have already tested the new product, indicate that in terms of functionality this simulator is the best one they have used so far.

UkSATSE continues to pursue a targeted policy of professional development for specialists involved in air traffic services. This develops the human resources potential of the company, strengthens the image of the national provider of air navigation services as a European-style company and improves flight safety in the Ukrainian sky.
