The Safety and Quality Inspectorate is a branch of UkSATSE responsible for organisation, introduction and support of the processes, necessary for effective operation of the Integrated Management System. Under the flowchart of process owners within the Integrated Management System, the Safety and Quality Inspectorate is responsible for implementation of the processes regarding safety and quality management aspects.
The Safety and Quality Inspectorate has international accreditation, confirmed by
the Certificate of independent accreditation organisation, as an inspection body of type A, B, C in the area of Air Navigation System pursuant to ISO/IEC 17020 “General criteria for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection”/EN 45004 (inspection bodies) that meet requirements to recognised organizations, laid out in the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) No. 550/2004 of 10 March 2004 on the provision of air navigation services in the Single European Sky (
