The Safety Management System is systematic and accurate approach that determines UkSATSE activity which is aimed at Safety Management. The Safety Management System being a part of the UkSATSE Integrated Management System ensures that all safety-related risks are identified, assessed and mitigated to the acceptable level.
The ATM Safety Management System has been introduced in UkSATSE in accordance with the National Rules, which are fully consistent with Safety Management requirements, specified by the Standards and Recommended Practices of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the EUROCONTROL Safety Regulatory Requirement (ESARR 3), requirements of the European Commission Regulation No. 1035/2001 dated 17.11.2011 laying down common requirements for the provision of air navigation services. Operation of the UkSATSE Safety Management System is a subject of ongoing safety oversight by the National Supervisory Authority of Ukraine pursuant to the national procedures consistent with requirements of the European Commission Regulation No. 1034/2001 dated 17.11.2011 on safety oversight in air traffic management and air navigation services. Compliance of the UkSATSE Safety Management System with the above mentioned requirements is confirmed by
the Certificate of the National Supervisory Authority of Ukraine.
