Not just managers. 10 effective state managers of Ukraine according to Focus |
In lists of "the best", "socially active", "beautiful" and other influential people, one important category of managers often falls out. These are the state managers who manage the movement and development of the state, who preserve and increase its assets by efficient work: who return millions to the budget by withdrawing them from various "schemes", who make money by successful implementation of privatisation. And someone administers the finances so that the state can build roads and houses, develop infrastructure and support citizens who require social assistance. These people do not make populist statements at the Verkhovna Rada, rarely attend loud talk shows, because they are busy - working. And we decided to talk about them.
The list of effective state managers: how we considered
While compiling the list of participants, we assessed the performance of state managers and achievements on the position according to their functions. Given that management activities in the public sphere are based on the national and social interests, rights and needs of the people, we took into account the correlation between the promises made or goals set by the state managers and the work done.
Andrii Yarmak
Who is he: Acting director of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise. He has been in office since October 2019.
Age: 36 years
Aviation is one of the industries most affected last year by the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. But even in this situation, the enterprise has managed to avoid staff cuts. Close dialogues with trade unions were built up throughout. Moreover, at the end of 2020 UkSATSE was certified by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine. And as part of resumption of operations, Uzhgorod Airport has received certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, EASA.
The past crisis year has not prevented UkSATSE from continuing to introduce new equipment and projects for the future. For example, we upgraded automated air traffic control systems in Kharkiv RB (a regional brunch), Dnipro RB and Zaporizhzhia. A completely new automated air traffic control system, the latest development of European manufacture, has been installed in Lviv.
At the same time, June 2021 saw 60% of flights compared to pre-crisis 2019. This means that air transportation is returning to its usual level. |
