UkSATSE transfers Kaniv helipad to National Police |
Kaniv (Pekari) helipad which had been on the balance of UkSATSE since July 2012, was transferred from the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine to the National Police of Ukraine on a non-refundable basis.
The transfer of property of a non-profit unit was agreed with the State Property Fund as part of the optimization of UkSATSE expenses on non-core assets. Expenses of UkSATSE for the helipad maintenance in 2019 amounted to approximately UAH 5 million and they exceeded UAH 2.5 million for 9 months of 2020.
The first flight to the helipad was performed in 2013, while there were only 66 arrivals during the period of the helipad operation.
It should be mentioned that the helipad with a passenger terminal having a capacity of 50 passengers per hour is located in Pekari village, Kaniv district, Cherkasy region. It is designed for all types of helicopters up to 13, 000 kg which meet the specifications of “Class 1” or “Class 2” and are certified for Category A or B Small Rotorcraft, visual flight rules and instrument flight rules.
The transfer of property took place in accordance with the Regulations on the procedure for the transfer of public ownership legal objects approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 21.09.1998 No. 1482. |
