Ukraine has obtained invaluable experience in the Aeronautical Information Management sphere
Experts of the Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) of UkSATSE took part in the regular 24th meeting of the COG/AIM Task Force (COG/AIM TF/24) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ІСАО) which was held from 29 October to 1 November 2012 at the Jeppesen European Office in Neu Isenburg, Germany. Jeppesen is one of the worldwide leaders on the market of aeronautical information services provision.

For the first time International Conference in the sphere of Civil Aviation Medicine took place in Ukraine
During 17-21 September 2012, a five-day International theoretical and practical Conference and 32nd Meeting of the Coordinative Advising Aeromedical Council (CAAC) of the Interstate Aviation Committee were held in Ukraine. Such large-scale event in the sphere of aviation medicine, organized by the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE), was the first one conducted in Ukraine since its independence. This attests to the high level of development of medical and sanitary supply of civil aviation in Ukraine. In the aviation industry, health of the employees is the necessary condition of professional aptitude, as much as aeronautical medicine is an important factor in flight safety.

Eurocontrol highly appreciates flight safety level in Ukraine and the effectiveness of work of national ANS provider – UkSATSE
Director of the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) David McMillan, who arrived to Ukraine with official visit, highly appreciated Ukraine’s membership in this influential organisation, and also the level of development of air navigation system in Ukraine and safety level, effectiveness of quality of air navigation service which is provided by the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE).

UkSATSE studies the expedience of implementing Remote Tower technology in Ukraine
The Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE) in cooperation with SAAB Company is considering the expedience of implementing the new technology for aviation market – providing of remote controlling for airdromes with low traffic intensity.

UkSATSE provided Air Navigation Service for 17 892 flights at five aerodromes used during Euro-2012
In June 2012 Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE) provided Air Navigation Service for 17 892 flights at five aerodromes of four cities which hosted Euro-2012 that is 31,6 % more than within a similar period of the previous year.

Ukrainian controllers are European football champions!
The football team “UkSATSE” of the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise again won the European Controllers’ Cup (ECC) Competition which took place in Prague (Czech Republic) from 19 till 22 June 2012. The top-class professionals in their sphere not being professional football players became European football champions for the eleventh time. Our team scored 23 goals on the European colleagues' goals.

Ukrainian and Turkish providers of air navigation service signed Memorandum on cooperation
On June 20, 2012 Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE) and State Airports Administration of Turkey (DHMI) signed Memorandum on cooperation, which envisages development of regional cooperation between UkSATSE and DHMI in the air navigation domain in the South-Eastern part of Europe.

By Order of the Minister of Defence of Ukraine No. 482 dated June 14, 2012 Major General Oleksandr Volkov was appointed to the position of the head of Ukrainian Airspace Management and Planning Center (Ukraerocenter) of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise.

UkSATSE has completed the project of implementation of Automatic Terminal Information Service (ATIS) system at seven airports of Ukraine
On June 12, 2012 at 09:00 UTC (12:00 local time) Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise put into operation an Automatic Terminal Information Service (ATIS) at Zhuliany airport– the last of seven designated airports.
