UkSATSE Flight Calibration Service: safety is controlled by professionals |
UkSATSE Flight Calibration Service (FCS) was established as a structural unit of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise 24 years ago, on August 15, 1996. It was founded on the basis of a specialized air squadron (one of four in the former USSR) that had been performing flight inspections of navigation facilities since 1976. It is the only company in Ukraine certified for such services with a fleet of special mission laboratory airplanes that perform flight inspections of ground-based radio navigation and lighting equipment.
Such flight calibrations enable monitoring the technical condition of the available equipment and certifying the new equipment required for the operation of any airport and the air navigation system as a whole.
Beechcraft B300 (Super King Air 350) operated by UkSATSE FCS are twin-engine turboprop aircraft that have optimal aerodynamic and operational performance characteristics for flight inspections and are equipped with state-of-the-art automatic flight inspection systems manufactured by the leading company Aerodata AG (Germany). Unique and experienced specialists work with this sophisticated equipment, the total flight time of UkSATSE FCS aircraft is over 30,000 hours.
Due to regular flight inspections, UkSATSE, along with its main activity, i.e. provision of air navigation services, ensures the functioning of air navigation and airport infrastructure, thereby providing safety of air traffic in the Ukrainian sky.
High-quality services offered by UkSATSE FCS are also in demand among foreign partners. Our specialists performed flight inspections in Moldova, Romania, Georgia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other countries.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our colleagues on the 24th anniversary of UkSATSE FCS! We wish you easy take-offs and landings, reliability of equipment in the air and on the ground, new horizons and new successful contracts!
