Traffic in Ukrainian airspace soars by 12.5% in 2006
In 2006 the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE) serviced more than 350,000 movements in Ukrainian airspace, which represents a total increase of 12.5% on 2005.

In the first half of 2006, the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise (UkSATSE) serviced more than 160 000 movements in Ukrainian airspace, which represents a total increase of 12.6% over the same period of 2005.

19 July 2006 marks the seventh anniversary of the Ukrainian Joint Civil-Military Air Traffic Management (ATM) System. The introduction of the Joint Civil-Military ATM System was a major step in the development of Ukrainian air navigation and, as a result, Ukraine drew level with leading European states regarding levels of civil-military coordination and cooperation.
