Ukraine was one of the first countries in Europe to successfully implement an optimized network of ATS routes
Optimization of the air traffic service network will make the airspace under the responsibility of Ukraine more attractive, will simplify the flight planning processes for airlines and will increase the efficiency of use of these routes in Ukraine.

The head of UkSATSE Andrii YARMAK pointed out that Ukraine had become the sixth country in the European region, which had successfully implemented SCC - Single CDR Category environment in full compliance with the European Route Network Improvement Plan (ERNIP). "As a result, airlines will be able to save time and resources on these routes, and this, in addition to the economic effect, will also have a positive impact on the environment," commented Andrii Yarmak.

SCC is fully or partially implemented in Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Poland and France. According to the estimates of the Eurocontrol, the transition to the SCC of the Eurocontrol member states will be implemented in stages throughout 2019-2020, when the entire airspace of these countries will be transferred to the SCC environment.

Introduction of the SCC in Ukraine was preceded by a long preparatory work, which provided for assessment of flight safety, preparation and publication of amendments to the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP Ukraine), amendments to the working documents and instructions, carrying out the theoretical and practical training of personnel on the management of air traffic.
Information
Conditional Route (CDR) - a non-permanent ATS route or portion thereof which can be planned and used under specified conditions.

The CDR Terms of Use are published daily in the European Airspace Use Plan (EAUP/EUUP) on the Eurocontrol Network Operations Portal (NOP):
www.public.nm.eurocontrol.int/PUBPORTAL/gateway/spec/index.html.
CDRs complement a network of permanent ATS routes and allow planning and use of those routes or portions thereof, availability of which is determined on a daily basis through the redistribution of airspace temporarily reserved.

As of today the AIP of Ukraine has published 139 conditional routes.
