UkSATSE receives Inspection Body Certificate |
Following the results of the initial certification, the UkSATSE Inspectorate for Internal Control and Audits for the first time has been issued the SIC Accreditation Certificate confirming its compliance with international standard ISO 17025:2005 and for the third time has confirmed its compliance with ISO 17020:2012.
Compliance with the accreditation criteria as described in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 entitles UkSATSE experts to investigate ATS incidents, carry out examinations, and risk assessment as well as information analysis. This will lay the groundwork for further increase of the ANSP’s competence.
Furthermore, UkSATSE is the only one Ukrainian enterprise that holds the ISO 17020:2012 Accreditation Certificate authorizing it to perform inspections of Type A, B, and C within the framework of Air Navigation Service as well as to audit aviation enterprises. This Certificate considerably strengthens position of UkSATSE particularly as a provider of qualified consultancy support. For example, cooperation in this field with partners from Kazakhstan is already underway.
Apart from the functions determined within the frame of the UkSATSE Integrated Management System, the Inspectorate for Internal Control and Audits is also a recognized organization, authorized civil aviation body in the sphere of audit/ inspection activity as well as investigation of ATM Safety related occurrences.
