Board of Directors Discusses UkSATSE Technical Integration and Financial Condition |
UkSATSE is fully prepared to start work within the frame of the EUROCONTROL Common Route Charges System. This was stated by Andrii Yarmak, the Head of UkSATSE, during a meeting of the UkSATSE Board of Directors.
“We are operationally, technically and economically quite ready for technical integration into the EUROCONTROL Common Route Charges System,” said Andrii Yarmak. “This will allow us to apply the most transparent and reasonable unit rates of air navigation charges which are calculated in compliance with the EUROCONTROL Principles and are subject to annual revision.
The technical integration paves the way for the maximally transparent and more meaningful annual consultations with airlines which will be billed and charged by EUROCONTROL on behalf of Ukraine according to standard and convenient for airlines procedures.”
The Head of UkSATSE informed the Board of Directors that at the meeting of the EUROCONTROL enlarged Committee for Route Charges held in November this year, it was confirmed that the cost base and unit rates of air navigation charges in Ukraine fully comply with the EUROCONTROL Principles.
Recently, EUROCONTROL has sent the conclusion to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine stating that the level of economic supervision over the air navigation service provider in Ukraine meets the international requirements.
“The main vector of UkSATSE development,” said Andrii Yarmak, “is financial stability. It is not a secret that now UkSATSE is in tough economic times. Our common task is to develop and implement effective measures to ensure the efficiency and profitability of our enterprise.”
The financial and economic condition of UkSATSE and prospects for its development were discussed at the meeting in detail. Also, the draft UkSATSE technical policy regarding communication, navigation and surveillance was addressed. Another important issue was the development of human resources potential of UkSATSE. |
