| EUROCONTROL and UkSATSE Hold the 6th European AIS Database Regional Workshop in Kyiv |
 On 17 – 19 September, the 6th European AIS Database (EAD) regional workshop was held in Kyiv. In addition to the representatives of EUROCONTROL and the State Aviation Administration, delegates of aeronautical data providers from Armenia, Moldova, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of GroupEAD, NedGraphics and M-AIS, companies involved in EAD technical assistance and advice, participated in the workshop.
At the workshop, the EAD’s upcoming improvements and new features concerning the Static Data Operations (SDO), Published AIP Management System (PAMS), and International NOTAM Operations (INO) were discussed. Besides, attention was given to the overall evolution of EAD services which are planned to be more end-user oriented.
As an aeronautical data provider and EAD services user, UkSATSE acted as the co-organizer of the event. Emmanuel Dettwiller, EAD Customer Manager, who led the workshop and coordinated the event on behalf of EUROCONTROL thanked the UkSATSE management and specialists involved in the organization and holding of the international event. |
