The year 2020 appeared to be an unprecedented challenge for the aviation industry of Ukraine and the entire world due to the influence of the COVID-19 outbreak and it will take a long time to overcome the consequences of this crisis. At the same time, UkSATSE's achievements at the national and international level became a solid foundation for further development.

Andrii Yarmak, UkSATSE Head: “In 2020, the process of technical integration of Ukraine to Common Route Charges System, lasted for 16 years, was approved by Eurocontrol. Among our main achievements are getting a new EASA certificate, which confirmed full compliance with updated EU certification requirements, and recognition by international agencies for aviation safety such as FAA and EASA of flight safety in the international airspace over the Black Sea, which gives us new opportunities to promote the transit potential of the airspace of Ukraine.”
