Ernst & Young to conduct financial statement audit of UkSATSE |
On 18th of March, Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise concluded a contract on financial statement audit with Ernst & Young Audit Services LLC as a winner of the advertised bidding. The value of the services is UAH 2.4 million.
Well-known international audit companies like BDO LLC, PricewaterhouseCoopers (Audit) and PJSC "Deloitte & Touche USC" were among the bidders.
During the years 2014 – 2015 the professionals of Ernst & Young will conduct the audit of the UkSATSE financial statement, prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Moreover, the audit will cover the account opened with Ukrainian bank, which is used for transactions under the Loan Agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Finance Contract with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Following the results of the financial statement audit, the UkSATSE will be provided with the audit findings in the Ukrainian and the English languages, performed in accordance with the International Auditing Standards. These audit findings will then be sent to the EBRD, the EIB and Eurocontrol.
It should be noted that during the year 2015 UkSATSE held a series of consultation meetings with EUROCONTROL experts with a view to prepare for the above audit.

Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE), founded in 1992, is the basis of the national air navigation system and Joint Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System of Ukraine (JCMS). The company provides the full range of air navigation services: air traffic service, air traffic flow management, airspace management, provision of communication, navigation and surveillance for air traffic services and flights performance; JCMS operation and development; emergency notification and search and rescue operations; provision of aeronautical and meteorological information to the airspace users. |
