"Our priority is to further improve air traffic surveillance service in the southern part of the country" - Andrii Yarmak.
UkSATSE will install modern equipment in the southern part of Ukraine - two modern route radar complexes as part of primary and secondary surveillance radars with advanced S mode. This will improve the quality of surveillance service provided by the national air navigation service provider.

"With the implementation of these complexes, we will improve flight safety in the Ukrainian sky, in particular in Odesa, Dnipro and Simferopol flight information regions and also - in the international airspace over the open sea, where air traffic service is delegated to Ukraine", - said the head of UkSATSE Andrii Yarmak.

The leading Spanish manufacturer of air navigation equipment "Indra Sistemas S.A." became the supplier of radar systems for UkSATSE, selected through a tender held under the rules and procedures of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The contract for the equipment supply was signed by the head of UkSATSE Andrii YARMAK (in the photo on the right) and the director of air traffic management programs "Indra Sistemas S.A.". Federiko Rueda LAORGA at the office of UkSATSE today.

Under the terms of the contract, the company will also develop system design, conduct training of the specialists of the Enterprise, perform installation, adjustment and acceptance tests at the site of the equipment installation.
The project is being financed with EBRD and EIB credit funds.
