State Aviation Administration of Ukraine certified UkSATSE
UkSATSE obtained the Certificate issued by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine confirming the compliance of the Ukrainian air navigation service provider (ANSP) with national requirements and international standards laid down in effective Directives of the European Parliament and the Council, as well as the European Commission relating to the provision of air navigation services.
This document proves the high level of the national air navigation system and expertise of UkSATSE specialists responsible for the safety and air traffic management not only in the Ukrainian airspace, but also in the international airspace over the Black sea area according to international air navigation agreements and the amendment to the European Air Navigation Plan approved by the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in 1997.
It is to be recalled that in 2004 the European Commission established common requirements for the certification of ANSPs of the EU Member States. Ukraine as a Eurocontrol Member State came through the process of certification which is similar to those of the leading countries of the European Union and once again proved its capability to be the full-fledged player in the competitive European environment. The ANSPs certification process in Ukraine was launched in 2007 and even at that time the relevant regulatory requirements of the European Commission particularly the safety management system requirements were implemented in the national regulatory acts in this field.
