| Specialists of Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) of Ukraine received certificates for further support of pan-European AIS Database |
 Three AIS specialists involved in supporting the European AIS Database (EAD), were trained to operate software of EAD Pro terminal as supplier and customer of EAD data.
The training course provided under the contract between UkSATSE and GroupEAD Europe S.L., lasted from 6 till 14 June 2016. The course was delivered by the head of operational shift of GroupEAD Europe S.L. Oleg Novikov directly at the AIS experts’ workplaces using remote access to the EAD training server.
The training course had the following modules: SDO-DP SDO Data Provider – input of static aeronautical data to the EAD and EAD-GV Graphical Validation Training – graphic quality control of statistic data input to EAD. The specialists, who received the advance training, already had enough competence in this area and passed preliminary training on the subject, which was a requirement of EAD Internship Program for the customers in 2016.
At the end of the training course all the students - Iryna Papeta, Anna Martynenko, Olga Kuznetsova – passed the control tests and received certificates of GroupEAD Europe S.L.
Pan European AIS Database (EAD ─ European AIS Database) is a centralized software and hardware complex, which includes the aeronautical data base and a set of operational modules and systems for handling data.
AIS of UkSATSE completed the migration to EAD for services minSDO and PAMS on December 15, 2011, and to INO – on March 8, 2012. In February 2013 UkSATSE joined the Pan European AIS database (EAD) according to scenario of providing a full set of static data operations (FullSDO).
Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) of Ukraine is the only authorized and accountable body for provision of aeronautical information in Ukraine. |
