PANSA and UkSATSE improve cooperation in the field of Air Navigation
On February 27, 2019, on the initiative of Ukrainian side, a meeting was held at UkSATSE headquarters on the coordination and co-operation of work of Polish and Ukrainian air navigation service providers.

PANSA delegation, headed by Acting President Janusz Janiszewski, made a presentation of the air traffic management system (UAV), developed by PANSA.

During the meeting, experts from Poland and Ukraine discussed the issues related to air traffic in summer period, separation of a new sector of airspace, introduction of restrictions on the use of ATS routes in the interfaces of Warsaw and Lviv FIRs and identified prospects for technical cooperation in the exchange of radar data and coordination of DME. The issue of technical requirements to the automated air traffic control systems, taking into account Cross Border FRA Operations, was also discussed.

Janusz Janiszewski - acting President of Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA):

“First of all, I would like to thank you for hosting us as a delegation of PANSA, here in the premises of UkSATSE. Our long-lasting cooperation between the two companies shows that only a full and close cooperation and understanding of each other helps all ATM network in the daily operations. It is proved every day that air traffic, which is handled by the two companies is handled in the safe and proper way. Today we had the possibility to discuss future solutions, like UTM and free route airspace, which will be implemented and operationally opened in Polish airspace just in 24 hours.

So, as a CEO of PANSA, I would like to thank you and hope that our cooperation will be developing and will bring good benefits for both countries.”
