Ukraine's technical integration into the Eurocontrol Joint Route Charges System is operational
Since 1 November, Ukraine has become a member of the Eurocontrol Joint Route Charges System, which is the final stage of incorporation of the European best practices in the field of air navigation and allows Ukraine to introduce the European system of cooperation in the field of air navigation.

Andrii YARMAK, Head of UkSATSE: "Step by step, Ukraine implements in the aviation industry fundamental European principles that allow us to be an equal, transparent and effective partner and participant in the European aviation market.
Technical integration brings specific benefits to everyone involved in the aviation market. For airlines, an open and standardized rate-setting process, annual updates and convenient invoice payment. For UkSATSE, full coverage of its own costs at the expense of the rates and a guarantee of their full payment by the airlines. For Ukraine, it is evidence of the firmness of the European integration course in foreign policy".

UkSATSE reports net profit for the first time since pre-crisis autumn 2019
UkSATSE earned a net profit of UAH 183 million in the third quarter of 2021. This is despite the fact that air traffic intensity in the third quarter was 26% lower compared to the same period in 2019.

Andrii Yarmak, Head of UkSATSE: " Implementation of effective anti-crisis measures, effective use of borrowed funds from international financial organisations and systematic work with Ukrainian and foreign airlines to attract them to use Ukrainian airspace, financial discipline in settlements by partner airlines began to bring the desired results and allowed to reach profitable operations for the quarter for the first time since the autumn of pre-crisis 2019. In addition, an important factor was the tripling of flights number in the airspace over the Black Sea, where an economically justified rate for air navigation services was introduced from June 2021".
