UkSATSE Seeks Modern Solutions for Introduction of Next-Generation ATM System
UkSATSE considers the merits of the iTEC platform developed by Spains Indra, one of the most powerful global manufacturers of automated equipment for air traffic management, and commissioned by several of the leading European air navigation service providers. In such a way, UkSATSE is continuing to study the latest developments that can be used to create a next-generation automated ATM system that employs a modular approach. UkSATSE aims at creating a platform that will allow it to effectively implement its own development programmes and also support the deployment of a number of global development projects. A modular approach will provide the required level of the system flexibility, which was previously impossible to achieve.

Volume of air traffic services provided by UkSATSE in 2017 increased by 18.5%: almost 254 thousand flights
In 2017, Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) provided air navigation services for 253,969 flights, which is 18.5% more than in 2016.

Training and Certification Center (TCC) of UkSATSE Certified to Carry Out Training of Air Traffic Management Specialists
The State Aviation Administration of Ukraine has taken a decision to issue a Certificate to TCC for training of air traffic management (ATM) specialists.

UkSATSE has obtained the Certificate of Air Navigation Service Provider organisation
UkSATSE has obtained the Certificate issued by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine confirming its compliance with national requirements and international standards relating to the provision of Air Navigation Services.

Today, on the 27th December 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Financial Plan of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) for 2018.

Champions League final: top managers of UkSATSE discuss interaction with Director of Network Manager Directorate (EUROCONTROL)
Dmytro BABEICHUK, Director of UkSATSE, Ruslan HUTSAN, First Deputy Director, Operations, and Joe Sultana, Director Network Manager, EUROCONTROL, discussed the planning of flights bound for Boryspil and Kyiv (Zhuliany) International Airports during the UEFA Champions League final in Kyiv.

UEFA Champions League final in Kyiv: Ukrainian air traffic controllers to train non-standard situations
Ukrainian air traffic controllers will train non-standard situations that may occur in the Ukrainian airspace because of the increase in air traffic volume during the UEFA Champions League final match in Kyiv. This became possible thanks to a new modern ATC simulator installed at the Regional Branch of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE).

UkSATSEs experience is an example of the best practice in Europe
UkSATSEs experience in the development of the Safety Management System as an example of the best practice was presented at the EUROCONTROL Safety Team meeting, which was held in Brussels on 11-12 October 2017. Participants to the Safety Team meeting were Air Navigation Service Providers - members of Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO).

UkSATSE strengthens its cybersecurity
UkSATSE held a Scientific and Practical Conference on Cybersecurity at its head office. This conference brought together the representatives of government agencies, higher education institutions and leading Ukrainian and international IT companies. The participants discussed the issues and current trends of cyber threats protection as well as technical, technological and organizational methods of counteraction to cyber-attacks.
