UkSATSE has started flight testing of ground equipment for Boryspil airport |
This week aircraft laboratory of UkSATSE airline performs scheduled flight testing of ground-based radio equipment and lighting equipment for Boryspil International Airport. The total testing time will amount to 20 flight hours.
The Beechcraft B300 aircraft with registration number UR-CWA performs, among other things, overflights of instrumental approach system, non-directional beacons and lighting equipment.
Flight testing services are performed under the contract between UkSATSE and Boryspil Airport, according to which fifteen facilities and systems will be flown by within 70 flight hours in 2020.
This is the first of two stages of the contract, which includes activities to conduct scheduled annual testing and commissioning of new equipment at the airport.
Such inspections are mandatory to certify new equipment and monitor the technical condition of existing equipment to ensure the operation of any airport and the safety of take-off and landing at the airport.
UkSATSE also participates in tenders for overflights at other Ukrainian airports, in particular, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Gostomel, Lviv and Zaporizhzhia, as well as for foreign airports and aviation enterprises, such as Belarus, Moldova, Uzbekistan and other countries that appreciate quality of the Ukrainian company's services.

UkSATSE airline has been a structural subdivision of UkSATSE since 1996. The airline is certified by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine and performs flight tests of ground radio equipment and light equipment to confirm their operational serviceability. At present, the airline is actively working to expand its customer base among domestic and foreign airlines.
UkSATSE's fleet consists of Beechcraft B-300 (Super King Air 350) - twin-engine turboprop aircraft, which have optimal aerodynamic and operational flight characteristics for flight tests and are equipped with modern automated flight control systems produced by German company Aerodata AG.
