UkSATSE and "Belavia" have signed a Service Level Agreement |
Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) and Belavia – Belarusian Airlines have signed a Service Level Agreement aimed at provision of more efficient conditions for the use by the Carrier of the airspace under the responsibility of Ukraine while ensuring appropriate level of flight safety. This is another step of the air navigation service provider towards the carrier, which complies with the policy of the Enterprise to create maximally favorable conditions to airspace users for the highest efficiency of flights in the sky over Ukraine.
Improvement of coordination between UkSATSE and "Belavia" provides for adoption of common solutions in the context of development of routes network, usage of flight trajectories optimum for airlines with due consideration of ICAO requirements and Ukrainian legislation. The coordination will also contribute to bilateral exchange of important for flight operations information.
The parties’ intention is enhancement of cooperation to rise in the number of "Belavia" regular and charter flights in the airspace of Ukraine.
"We are satisfied with the level of mutually beneficial cooperation between UkSATSE and "Belavia". The airline highly rated the optimality of the network of air traffic services in Ukrainian airspace; in particular the airline distinguished the services provided during landings/departures to/from the airports in Lviv, Odesa and Boryspil. We will pursue our policy aimed at considering needs of all air carriers to maximize efficiency of flights in the airspace of Ukraine by optimizing routes and reducing flight time of aircraft,"- said Dmytro Babeichuk, director of UkSATSE.
As a reminder, in 2016 Belavia – Belarusian Airlines was among the top three air carriers by the number of flights performed in the airspace of Ukraine - about 13,000 flights which is 21.6% higher than in 2015.
