Ukrainian aviation authorities, UkSATSE and FAA consider the possibility of flights resumption of the aircraft with the US registration in the airspace under responsibility of Ukraine
Specialists of Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE), as part of Ukrainian delegation, held consultations with representatives of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), State Department and the US Department of Defense at FAA headquarters in Washington DC.
Main issue of the consultation was consideration of the possibility of reviewing the SFAR No.113 document, which prohibits flights within Simferopol and Dnipropetrovsk flight information regions of operators registered in the United States, due to the temporary occupation by Russia of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Russian aggression in the East of Ukraine. This will be the first step towards renewal of operations of air carriers with American registration in that part of Ukrainian airspace.

UkSATSE Seeks Modern Solutions for Introduction of Next-Generation ATM System

In such a way, UkSATSE is continuing to study the latest developments that can be used to create a next-generation automated ATM system that employs a modular approach. UkSATSE aims at creating a platform that will allow it to effectively implement its own development programmes and also support the deployment of a number of global development projects.
