EUROCONTROL notes a significant deviation from the April air traffic recovery scenario
According to an updated forecast by the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), the percentage decrease in the number of flights in the European airspace in September should have been -40% of the same indicator for 2019, but this indicator has already reached -54%.
Considering the transition to winter navigation, it is predictable that the recovery of flight intensities in the following months will be even slower.
