UkSATSE is fully prepared for the implementation of the Agreement on European Common Aviation Area |
"UkSATSE, as a national air navigation service provider, is technically fully prepared to implement articles of the Agreement on European Common Aviation Area (ECAA). For quite a long time our Enterprise has been working under the requirements that European Union put forward to the quality of air navigation services. This was made possible due to the fact that since 2004 Ukraine had been a member of the international organization EUROCONTROL." - Said UkSATSE Director Dmytro Babeichuk in his interview to the Radio "Voice of Capital".
He also pointed out that signing of the Agreement was an important issue for Ukraine, since creation of ECAA between the EU and our country provided for not only compliance with European rules on aviation safety, aviation security, air traffic control, but also it would increase number of European airlines in Ukrainian air transport market, which would create conditions for reduction of prices on flights.
Dmytro Babeichuk also noted that our country had completed all necessary requirements to the signing of the Agreement. In particular, on November 28th, 2013 on the eve of Ukraine’s failure to sign the Association Agreement with the European Union, the procedure of initialing of the Agreement on ECAA took place in Vilnius. Unfortunately, under the initiative of the European Union, the signature of the Agreement was postponed. The reason was the perennial dispute on Gibraltar between Britain and Spain.
"UkSATSE is ready not only to the implementation of the ECAA, but also to be the driver of the process of provision of air navigation services within the powers delegated to Ukraine by international organizations", - said UkSATSE Director Dmytro Babeichuk. |
