| UkSATSE and EIB Sign the Amended and Restated Finance Contract |
 The amended and restated Finance Contract between UkSATSE and the European Investment Bank (EIB) was signed by Oleksandr Dotsenko, Acting Director of UkSATSE, and Jean-Erik S. de Zagon, Head of the EIB Resident Representation for Ukraine, at the EIB Resident Representation in Kyiv on April 5, 2018.
This Finance Contract is the second component of the project of modernisation of the Ukrainian Air Navigation System funded through loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and EIB for a total amount of more than EUR 82 million (financing is provided for EUR 41 million by each of the banks).
The permanent technical modernisation of the National Air Navigation System carried out by UkSATSE from its own and loan funds contributes to the enhancement of safety in the airspace under the responsibility of Ukraine. |
