Volume of air traffic services provided by UkSATSE in 2018 increased by 18.5%
In 2018, Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) provided air navigation services for 300,853 flights, which is 18.5% more than in 2017. UkSATSE provided air navigation services for 106,654 flights of domestic airlines (which is 9.7% more than in 2017) and for 194,199 flights of foreign airlines (which is 23.9% more than in the same period last year), where 125,145 flights (+23%) are attributed to transit flights, 146,115 (+16.2%) – to international flights (departure/landing) and 29,593 (+11.8%) – to domestic flights. The results of last year consolidated the dynamics of the growth in the volume of air navigation services provided by UkSATSE, which resumed in 2017 after a sharp decrease in the intensity of flights in Ukraine's airspace in 2014 caused by the occupation of the Crimea and the commencement of hostilities in the eastern part of Ukraine.
