Today is the 22nd anniversary of the creation of the Joint Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System of Ukraine
22 years ago, on 19 July 1999, the Joint Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System of Ukraine was created (JCMS). All of its units are part of UkSATSE, as close civil-military coordination is very important for the efficient use of airspace and ensuring a high level of safety - while respecting the interests of national defence and economy of the State.

Civil and military specialists work in the same shifts at UkSATSE and promptly take joint decisions on air traffic management issues and guarantee safe and efficient use of airspace by both state and civil aviation, which is especially important in the current environment. The main unit of the system is the Ukrainian Airspace Management and Planning Centre (UKRAEROCENTER).

Congratulations to all the colleagues on whom the efficiency of the JCMS operation depends and whose professionalism helps to achieve a high level of safety in the Ukrainian sky!
