Modernization of MULTIFONO M600 voice communication system, which meets the highest international standards, continues in Kyiv and Lviv air traffic control centers.
UkSATSE has received a supply of radio gateways, which will allow to implement modern VoIP technology for voice switching systems of previous generation. New equipment purchased under the contract concluded last year with a leading Italian company SITTI was delivered to Ukraine by a cargo aircraft of Silk Way Airlines.
This will result in greater flexibility in the use of telecommunications networks through the availability of any radio facility from any air traffic control center without physical switching of aerial telecommunication means.
The modernization programme is being implemented within the framework of the National Plan for implementation of the Single European Sky using EBRD credit funds.
