Ukraerocenter is 25!
25 years ago, the Ukrainian Airspace Management and Planning Center - Ukraerocenter - was established as part of UkSATSE.

A quarter of a century ago the foundation was laid for a new modern system of airspace use that meets our state needs and considers the best practices of European countries. During this time, we have gained a unique experience that allowed Ukraine to retain control in the Ukrainian sky during the events of 2014 in Crimea, - said the head of UkSATSE Andrii YARMAK.

UkSATSE has become the main operating unit of the joint civil-military air traffic management system. As a result, Ukraine has managed to achieve such a level of interaction between civil and military specialists in the field of air traffic management that has two more European countries - Germany and Sweden. And among post-Soviet countries, we were the first and remain the only ones.

Festivities to mark the anniversary of Ukraerocenter have been held today at the head office of UkSATSE. Specialists of the Enterprise have received awards from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and Ukrainian Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Special words of gratitude were voiced to the veterans of Ukraerocenter invited to the festivities, most of whom have already entrusted their work to their successors, and some continue to work at the Enterprise.

Head of UkSATSE Andrii Yarmak and Deputy Director - Head of Ukraerocenter Major General Alexander Volkov presented veterans with letters of gratitude from UkSATSE.

As a reminder, Ukraerocenter was established by a joint order of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Committee on the Use of Airspace of Ukraine. UkSATSE has become the main operational unit of the Joint Civil-military System of Air Traffic Management of Ukraine established in 1999, units of which are part of UkSATSE.
