| Training and Certification Center (TCC) of UkSATSE Certified to Carry Out Training of Air Traffic Management Specialists |
The State Aviation Administration of Ukraine has taken a decision to issue a Certificate to TCC for training of air traffic management (ATM) specialists.
The Certificate No. 54/2018 dated 22.01.2018 issued to TCC is valid for three years until January 22, 2021 ( 148 Kb).
The right of TCC of UkSATSE to provide professional training is confirmed by the results of the regular certification audit performed by the Certification Commission of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine in January 2018. The audit showed that the level of qualification of the instructor and teaching personnel, the system of training organization, the state of the facilities and resources (classrooms, simulator equipment and library) fully comply with the requirements of the Ukrainian legislation and legal acts which regulate the process of training and certification of ATM specialists in Ukraine.
Today, TCC is the only training unit of UkSATSE whose activities are certified by the State Aviation Administration. It has been granted the right to carry out the approved professional training of ATM specialists.
Background information. “The training, conversion training, refresher training and development training of aviation personnel and ground maintenance personnel followed by the issuance of a relevant certificate is carried out at aviation training institutions, refresher and development training centres for aviation specialists and other institutions, including foreign ones, that are certified or recognized as the designated civil aviation institutions to carry out appropriate training” (Item 1 of Article 52 of the Air Code of Ukraine). |
