UkSATSE official comment on Ryanair flight
Andrii Yarmak, Head of UkSATSE: "During the Ryanair transit flight from Athens to Vilnius within the airspace of Ukraine, which took place on May 23, 2021, the provision of air navigation services was carried out in accordance with the respective flight plan and in line with the established rules and procedures.
There were no reports of abnormal situations on board the aircraft and no requests to change the flight plan were made to the air traffic services of UkSATSE from any sources. During 25-minute period that the aircraft was in the Lviv flight information region, the crew's radio communications with air traffic controllers proceeded in a normal manner, as prescribed by ICAO Standards and Recommended practices".
