Upwards of 20 thousand flight operations were provided with air navigation services during the first month of the 2020 year
In January 2020, the Ukrainian air navigation service provider (UkSATSE) handled 21,503 flights, which is 6.8% more than the same period of last year.

The UkSATSE's leader Andriy Yarmak said: The number of flights within the airspace of Ukraine has been steadily growing to manifest positive market dynamics. We shall struggle on developing our transit potential and continue modernizing the air navigation system of Ukraine.

Ukraerocenter is 25!
25 years ago, the Ukrainian Airspace Management and Planning Center - Ukraerocenter - was established as part of UkSATSE.

A quarter of a century ago the foundation was laid for a new modern system of airspace use that meets our state needs and considers the best practices of European countries. During this time, we have gained a unique experience that allowed Ukraine to retain control in the Ukrainian sky during the events of 2014 in Crimea, - said the head of UkSATSE Andrii YARMAK.

The Government has endorsed UkSATSE's financial plan for 2020
This financial document will make it possible for UkSATSE to continue the development of Ukrainian air navigation system, to carry out economic activities in accordance with planned financial and economic figures.

Contract implementation stages between UkSATSE and Indra Sistemas S.A. for the delivery of new radars confirmed
The schedule and conditions of the contract for the delivery of two state-of-the-art En-Route Radar Complexes were discussed today by the specialists of UkSATSE and Indra Sistemas S.A. the leading Spanish manufacturer of air navigation equipment. A constituent meeting with Spanish partners was held today at UkSATSE office.

The Ministry of Infrastructure plans to introduce a new rate of route charges for air navigation services and a single rate of terminal charges for all Ukrainian airports
"The National Air Navigation Services Provider is a state enterprise that does not use state budget funds, but finances all operating expenses and invests its own funds received from the provision of air navigation services into the important projects for development of the air navigation system of Ukraine.

Implementation of new rates will fully cover costs of the national provider of air navigation services and will contribute to the stable operation and development of the national air navigation system of Ukraine, which will have a positive impact on flight safety in the Ukrainian sky"
, - said head of UkSATSE Andrii Yarmak, commenting the Ministry of Infrastructure decision to introduce new rates of charges for provision of air navigation services in Ukraine.

Partnership between UkSATSE and Slovak Air Navigation Service Provider is essential for the implementation of European air traffic service standards - Andrii YARMAK
Progress of cooperation between the air navigation service providers of Ukraine and the Slovak Republic was discussed during the working meeting of the Head of UkSATSE Andrii Yarmak with the management of the state enterprise Letové prevádzkové služby Slovenskej republiky (LPS SR) in Bratislava.

Volume of air navigation services provided by UkSATSE increased by 11.5% in 2019
In 2019 UkSATSE provided air navigation services to 335,407 flights of foreign and Ukrainian airlines, which is 11.5% higher than in 2018.

Head of UkSATSE Andrii YARMAK: The increase in the number of flights in the airspace of Ukraine allows the Enterprise to revive investments in important projects of air navigation system development, infrastructure projects, which ultimately contributes to the efficiency of airspace use and flight safety level. It also increases contributions to the state budget and target funds and is the guarantee of social security for the Enterprise specialists.

UkSATSE is certified to provide training for air traffic controllers in compliance with the new aviation regulations.
This is confirmed by a Certificate of the Organization for Training of Air Traffic Controllers UA.ATCO.TO.0003 (serial number AA 020492), issued by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine on December 28, 2019.
This Certificate is a proof of the high professional level of teachers, instructors, methodologists and specialists in the organization and provision of professional training at UkSATSE and an important element in ensuring flight safety.

Ukrainian airlines to suspend flights to Iran and Iraq from the beginning of the day 9.01.2020 State Aviation Administration Decision
No prohibition for international civil aviation to use Iranian airspace has been imposed by the competent authorities of this country as at 15:00 Kyiv time on January 8, 2020. This is confirmed by Iran official Aeronautical Information Publications.

Closing or restricting the use of a states airspace is the competence of the state under whose sovereignty that airspace is.

As it becomes known, the Decision of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine bans Ukrainian airlines from flying in the airspace over Iran and Iraq from 00:00 on 9.01.2020 until the causes of the crash of Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752 are investigated.

UkSATSE has joined the group of providers with the most advanced flight safety management system in Europe based on results of Eurocontrol and CANSO audits
Based on the 2019 audit results, UkSATSE joined the group of 27 countries with the highest indicators of safety management system (SMS) perfection with the average SMS maturity level of 70-78%.
